This old bridge is located just outside Split, in the small town of Solin over the river Jadro. More like a creek, really. We were stationed there during the war in the army barracks and had to pass over it almost every day. It's just next to the little church in whose yard is buried Kraljica Jelena (Queen Jelena) who lived in the 7th century and was the protectress of widow and orphans. I named my own daughter after her.
Each print is signed, numbered and limited to 100 copies. It's printed on the German Hahnemühler Art Paper which gives it the fine art quality. The image itself is a little bit smaller than the outside dimensions, allowing for a white border around it and eliminating the need for a mat.
To arrive safely to your place, each print will be carefully rolled up with a protective tissue paper and a plastic wrap before it is inserted into a mailing tube.
If for any reason the print is not what you expected, please return it within 30 days for a full refund.
Giclée process utilizes museum quality pigmented inks and the finest archival art papers available on the market today. The results are breathtaking prints with incredible details and vibrant, yet nuanced gradations and tones.
Giclée (pronounced Gee’clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, it is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer - is much larger and more detailed. Giclée prints can be a little over a meter wide and are printed on high quality archival papers; the best way to produce archival reproductions of fine art photographs.
